<p class="font_8">I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 13 years experience providing mental health treatment to children, adolescents, and families. I received my graduate degree at the University of Houston and have worked in a variety of settings including multidisciplinary teams, children in foster and residential care, hospital, and outpatient settings. Additionally, I am an LPC-Supervisor and welcome the opportunity to supervise LPC Associates.</p>

I hold a particular interest and specialty in working with children and their families with anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, school/social related experiences, and ADHD. I also provide treatment for a variety of presentations including but not limited to emotional regulation, behavioral difficulties, attachment issues, school refusal, and low self-esteem.

My Treatment Philosophy

Children and teens often communicate their anxiety through their behavior and often need help identifying maladaptive patterns. My practice combines a use of cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure and response prevention, play therapy, and mindfulness techniques tailored to each individual. I focus on building self-confidence and awareness so kids can tackle any challenges they might face. Parents and/or guardians are included in treatment in order to develop an integrative support system. My goal for therapy is to meet each child where they are at and help them overcome their anxieties so they can reach their fullest potential.

The fee for the initial assessment is $225. I am in network with Aetna insurance. I am out of Network for all other insurance companies but I am happy to provide you with an invoice that includes all the billing codes required to obtain reimbursement from your insurance company.
